Age Requirements: – 21 years to 75 years
- Hirers / Drivers aged 21 -22
- Must have held a full driving licence for at least 2 years.
- License must be free from any convictions / endorsements
- Must have an accident free record.
- Basic Accidental Damage excess is £500
- Hirers / Drivers aged 23 & 24
- Must have held a full driving license for at least 12 months.
- Basic Accidental Damage excess is £500
- Hire / Drivers aged 25 and over
- Must have held a full driving license for at least 12 months
- Basic Accidental Damage is £350
- Occupations
- Insurance statistics prove that certain occupations create a higher incidence of claims and these should therefore be vetted, you will have to call us before booking to check you can drive. If your occupations are any of the following please call first;
- Foreign servicemen based in the UK
- Students under 30.
- Foreign Students.
- Occupations connected to gambling or betting
- Publicans and club owners.
- Professional Sportspersons / Entertainers / Musicians including other such people will be carried as passengers.
- Traders of no fixed adobe
- Business connected to the courier industry
- If you have got any of these occupations please call first, as you still might be able to drive.
Collision Damage Waiver: -
- We offer a collision damage waiver service which costs between £5 – £6 pound per day. This will reduce your insurance excess to £50. This only applies to drivers over 25 and who have been driving for more than 12 months.
Own Insurance: -
We allow our Vehicles to go out on hire on your own insurance, which you can arrange. We will have to see the full cover note faxed over by the insurance company.
